Corporal Thomas Stubbs

Also buried at Tofts Hill Cemetery at Stathern is Corporal Thomas Stubbs aged 23 of the Royal Army Service Corps. He died in a Nottingham hospital. Strangely, his year of death on the Memorial Role of Honour in the War Memorial Institute and on his gravestone does not tally; at the cemetery it is given as 1945 but on his gravestone, which is unfortunately in poor condition, it says 1947
